FAQ

  • What is this course and what will I learn?

    This course is about learning the fundamentals of options, with a focus on how they behave. While it can take years to develop into an accomplished expert trader, by the end of this course, you will know how to start making money trading options in a safe manner.

  • Who is it for?

    This course is for beginner options traders with no experience with options or those who have played around with them but are struggling to advance much beyond the basics. This course is generally not for advanced options traders who are already trading spreads like iron condors, butterflies, calendars, or diagonals and have a solid understanding of the greeks.

  • What's the delivery format?

    This course is delivered live via Zoom by me (Steve) to small groups on a weekly schedule. It's intended to be highly interactive, rather like small group coaching sessions, rather than an anonymous large audience setting where individual questions don't often get addressed adequately. There will be homework quizzes and other assignments to help reinforce learning.

  • When are the sessions held and what if I miss one?

    The sessions will be held every Tuesday at 4.30pm EST / 1.30pm PST / 9.30pm GMT and each will last 90 mins to 2 hours. The next classes will start on Tuesday January 10th, 2023 and will run for 20 weeks. All sessions will be recorded so don't worry if you can't attend!

  • Do I need to understand complicated math to trade options successfully?

    No! It's important to understand the over-arching concepts which I cover in the course but you don't need to understand how they are derived.
